About Harlingen Area Crime Stoppers, Inc.
Harlingen Area Crime Stoppers, Inc. is a non-profit charitable organization governed by a dedicated Board of Directors made up of community members from the Harlingen area. The Board provides oversight and direction for the program’s financial operations and promotional efforts. Established in 1982, Harlingen Area Crime Stoppers has proudly served the City of Harlingen for decades, assisting law enforcement and the community in the fight against crime. Over the years, the program has earned multiple awards and recognitions for its outstanding performance and continued commitment to public safety.


Our Mission
Harlingen Area Crime Stoppers, Inc. exists to reduce crime in communities throughout the Harlingen area and to alleviate the crime prevention and crime-solving burdens on local law enforcement agencies.
